This workshop applies toward the training requirement for the new EPA rule. Recently, the EPA has released new regulations affecting all automotive/collision repair shops engaged in painting activities. Now is the time to learn about these requirements and what you can do to reduce their impact on your business and improve your working environment. More information about the final EPA regulation for autobody/refinishing paint shops can be found at the Design for the Environment website.

Your Instructors:

Kevin Sikora is a certified industrial hygienist/senior safety engineer and Jeff Aigeldinger is an experienced auto refinisher and former shop manager. Mary Cushmac is an environmental protection specialist and chemist. Kevin and Jeff are EPA contractors with the Eastern Research Group (ERG). ERG provides technical support for the DfE project.

This workshop is being offered through a partnership between the Kentucky Pollution Prevention Center and the Kentucky Division of Compliance Assistance.
