This workshop applies toward the training requirement for the new EPA rule. Recently, the EPA has released new regulations affecting all automotive/collision repair shops engaged in painting activities. Now is the time to learn about these requirements and what you can do to reduce their impact on your business and improve your working environment. A public tour of the Bowling Green Assembly Plant, Home of the Covette and XLR, is available for an additional $5, payable at the assembly plant. This tour begins at 1:15 PM CST.
Kevin Sikora is a certified industrial hygienist/senior safety engineer and Jeff Aigeldinger is an experienced auto refinisher and former shop manager. Mary Cushmac is an environmental protection specialist and chemist. Kevin and Jeff are EPA contractors with the Eastern Research Group (ERG). ERG provides technical support for the DfE project.
This workshop is being offered through a partnership between the Kentucky Pollution Prevention Center and the Kentucky Division of Compliance Assistance.
