2013 Governor's Conference on Energy & Environment
This year's conference will focus on the nation's changing energy resources and the implications and challenges for Kentucky.

The conference will have general sessions that cover federal regulatory plans limiting emissions of greenhouse gases and the anticipated impact on Kentucky’s electric power sector. The sessions will include discussions of options or potential pathways for Kentucky to comply with the federal climate agenda while ensuring our citizens and industry have affordable, reliable access to electricity.
Breakout sessions will cover topics ranging from energy efficiency, renewable energy projects and land preservation.
Early-bird Special for Attendees: Attendees who register online by close of business Aug. 7, 2013, can attend the full conference at a reduced price of $175. The Early-bird Special for conference participants for day one is $110; day two is $85.
After Aug. 7, 2013, conference registration fees will be:
- Full conference registration - $200
- Day one - $125
- Day two - $100
- Meal only (Sept. 17) - $40
The conference sponsors an exhibit hall of vendors with environmentally related services and products. Exhibit space costs $300 and includes one registration.
Cancellations and refund requests must be received in writing to KarenL.Wilson@ky.gov by Aug. 19, 2013, which is 30 days prior to the conference.
Organizations can make personnel substitutions for employees who are registered but unable to attend the conference.
