Highlighted speakers include: Gwen Keyes Fleming, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region Four Administrator; former Colorado Governor Bill Ritter, Jr., Director of Colorado State University’s Center for the New Energy Economy; Dave Adkisson, President and CEO, Kentucky Chamber of Commerce; and Dr. Lee T. Todd, Jr., former President of the University of Kentucky and an expert in technology and innovation.
Kentucky First Lady Jane Beshear is scheduled to speak and present the annual environment and energy awards during the September 27 luncheon.
Registration and additional information.
If you are a K-12 Kentucky teacher or a student at any Kentucky school, college or university interested in attending the 2011 conference and would like to apply for a scholarship, please see the conference website for instructions. Scholarships are limited and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. The scholarship allows a student or teacher to attend the one and a-half-day conference at no expense. No money will be exchanged. Upon approval of the scholarship application, the EEC will register you for the conference.
