Mr. O'Hara joined KPPC in October 2003. He is responsible for management and oversight of the Center's communications and outreach efforts. He also directs technology planning and integration to optimize the delivery of technical services, communications and outreach initiatives that directly support KPPC's mission and state-wide technical assistance mandate.
Mr. O'Hara has over 20 years of environmental management and compliance experience in manufacturing and government. Since joining KPPC, he has served as the Technical Services Program Manager and the Information Technology Program Manager. He has also served as project manager for environmental management system implementation efforts with Department of Defense installations. He has conducted environmental management workshops for small to medium-sized businesses and has developed related environmental management training materials. He initiated and has been instrumental with successfully aligning the assessment service model at KPPC with a results-driven technical assistance strategy for getting to P2 and E2 outcomes. Throughout his career, Mr. O'Hara has worked with integrating technology into environmental management systems and processes.
