Drs. Jennifer Middleton and Shantel Crosby recently published in the Journal of Aggression, Maltreatment & Trauma
Congratulations to Drs. Middleton and Crosby! Their seminal TRC Model manuscript was published in the Journal of Aggression, Maltreatment & Trauma. Working alongside Beatriz Vides, who is the lead author and co-developer of the model, they describe how a trauma-resilient framework (TRC Model) can be used to disrupt systems and structures that perpetuate violence, racism, and oppression within human service organizations. The research team is testing/evaluating this model as part of their 5-year, $5 million SAMHSA grant in Louisville, in partnership with the Office for Safe & Healthy Neighborhoods and 12 backbone agencies that serve west and south Louisville.
