All across the United States and the World there are currently children residing in homes where domestic violence is occurring between their adult care givers.  This workshop will explore the long term consequences on the adult relationships that children who were raised in violence will potentially have.  We will explore how witnessing violence in any form impacts the whole person.  We will end with sharing of evidenced based inventions that are effective in changing the life trajectory of our next generation thereby stopping the cycle.

As a result of attending the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Review the domestic violence experience as our foundation for understanding the impact on children.
  • Explore and have a working knowledge of the long term ramifications witnessing domestic violence has on the relationships of the adult children.
  • Examine and brainstorm about evidenced based interventions to effectively stop the cycle.
