Pass the Mic: Dr. Stephanie Grace Prost
Dr. Prost aims to enhance health and quality of life among criminal justice system stakeholders including persons who are incarcerated, their caregivers, criminal justice professionals, and administration. She pursues this aim using both quantitative and qualitative methods including primary data collection via surveys and focus groups and secondary data analysis of existing records and policies. Her current goals relate to the development, implementation, and evaluation of tailored interventions aimed at increasing health and quality of life among older adults incarcerated in prison. When not conducting research or teaching, she serves as a Cub Scout Den Leader, Girl Scout Troop Leader, and outdoor enthusiast and advocate.
The event will be held on March 24th, from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EST. Dr. Prost will have the MIC for the first 30-40 minutes. The MIC will then be passed to students during the last 20 minutes to ask questions and/or discuss projects of interest.
