Join the most anticipated session offered within the LGBT Health Certificate -- the Patient Simulation session.

This session provides an interactive, fun and highly effective approach to learning. Participants have the opportunity to practice scenario-based sexual and social history-taking by rotating through three distinct scenarios in small groups. Scenarios are based on common health disparities for this patient population. Local members of the LGBT community role-play the scenarios, provide substantive feedback to participants, and then share their own real-life experiences with this particular health care concern.

Participants consistently rate this as a "favorite" session offered through the Certificate! This can be done as a stand-alone session or as part of the LGBT Health Certificate. However, if you do intend to earn a Certificate this year you must you must attend one (of two) Patient Simulation Sessions.  Pizza will be served.

CE: Continuing Education available for Social Workers and Psychologists

Cost: Free for current UofL students. $32 for all others (UofL faculty & staff, and community members)

Please note:  The next Patient Simulation session will be offered March 6th, 2019. More information about the LGBT Health Certificate can be found here:

RSVP required.  We hope you can join us for this unique learning opportunity!
