Started UL Kent doctoral program: Started the doctoral program in the Fall of 2017.

Area(s) of research interest: My research interests include Child Welfare Workforce Development with a primary focus on Secondary Traumatic Stress.

Mentor: Dr. Anita Barbee

Current position: Director of Therapeutic Support Services for Maryhurst, Inc. a residential treatment facility for adolescent females.  I am also funded by and work for the Quality Improvement Center on Workforce Development.  The QIC-WD team is working in eight jurisdictions to test the efficacy of a variety of workforce interventions and how such interventions impact satisfaction, intent to leave the organization, actual turnover and meaningful child outcomes.

MSSW degree: University of Louisville with a specialization in Mental Health.
