Spring & Summer 2020 International Learning Opportunites

This spring and summer semester the Department of Criminal Justice is offering three international learning opportunities:

Belize is part of the International Service Learning Program offered as a semester-long course, but you will actually travel to Belize March 7-14. The course is CJ 580-01 in the spring 2020 schedule and is offered to both the undergraduate and graduate students. It will count as a CJ elective. Croatia is also part of the International Service Learning Program offered as a semester-long course, but you will actually travel to Croatia April 26-May 6. The course is CJ 580-02 in the spring 2020 schedule and is offered to both the undergraduate and graduate students. It will count as a CJ elective. Panama is a new summer International learning experience for criminal justice. We need 10 CJ students to apply before the trip can happen. The application deadline is December 2nd. Travel will occur May 4-24 led by Professor Michael Losavio. Please let  know if you are interested as soon as possible and see the brochure for more information: Panama 2019.pdf.

In the spring we are also offering on a course on International Criminal Justice that will pair well with any international travel you would be doing. The course is CJ 596-01 in the spring 2020 schedule and is offered to both the undergraduate and graduate students. It will count as a CJ elective. It will be taught by Professor Michael Losavio. 

NOTE: If you are interested in traveling to Belize or Croatia with criminal justice in the spring semester and need scholarship money then you must apply for the scholarship by Monday, October 14th!
