The Student Activities Board (SAB) provides social, multicultural, recreational and educational activities for the University's students and other interested members of the Campus Community. From movies to lectures, cultural celebrations to concerts, comedy shows to cookouts, homecoming events to casino nights, we provide co-curricular activities that enhance students' experiences at the University. The Board's events are an integral component of the students' overall education and development.

Our board is made up of students programming for students. As the programming arm of the Student Government Association (SGA), the group works to provide quality, fun, and educational events and programs for the student body. Any student can be involved in the planning and selection of SAB events and helping with the extensive work of producing and promoting our events. Through its work in providing these activities, the Board's members develop practical skills in a variety of areas.

The SAB is divided into two areas: The Programming Board and The Executive Board. The Programming Board is primarily responsible for the creation and execution of events and consists of seven committees:

  • Campus Life
  • Concert
  • Diversity
  • Engaging Issues
  • Film
  • Outreach
  • Spirit and Traditions

Each committee is headed by a Chair and Vice-Chair.

The Executive Board serves as an advisory council to the SAB and consists of three positions:

  • Programming Director
  • Marketing Director
  • Finance Director

The SAB is assisted in its planning by a staff adviser and two Graduate Assistants.
