Major Tracks (BA)

The Department of Comparative Humanities major offers a strong foundation in literature, the visual arts, linguistics, religious studies, film, and culture through a global and interdisciplinary perspective. In other words, you get a strong and broad general education in the humanities. But with the "tracks" (listed below), you also have the chance to specialize in a particular area such as film, linguistics, and religious studies. The Comparative Cultural Studies track offers you the opportunity to study more general humanities.
