Remember, moving does not necessarily mean walking or running. Golfing, Yoga, Weight Lifting and other activities count, too! No matter how you decide to keep moving, keep tracking, too! Remember to join us for weekly challenges and on-campus opportunities to get moving.

Last Year's Success:
This spring, UofL and UK will kick off the 3rd annual movement challenge to promote healthy hearts! In conjunction with the American Heart Association’s National Walking Day campaign, the goal of this friendly competition is to encourage ALL employees to increase physical activity, ultimately decreasing heart disease risks. Your spouse/QA can join the challenge and walk for UofL, too!
At the end of the 10-week challenge, the University with the highest average number of steps recorded will receive a traveling trophy. A t-shirt will also be given individually for participants with a minimum of 1,500 minutes recorded by June 11. Weekly charges will introduce focus areas from campus and community offerings and additional incentives, including:
