JOB SUMMARY

Coordinate and provide policy management of all support services for prospective and enrolled students who are learning disabled.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

Coordinate all services for students who are learning disabled, including reader service, exam accommodations, note-taking assistance and other services as needed on an individual basis.

Provide information and training about campus, community, and national resources to advance the level of self-awareness and self-advocacy of each student. Develop and implement educational programs, workshops and individual meetings.

Develop policies and procedures defining support services and eligibility criteria.

Interpret students' psycho-education assessment reports to determine and provide individualized accommodations.

Serve as an advocate, liaison and resource to the University and outside community on issues related to learning disabled and ADHD needs and services.

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS

Master's degree in College Student Personnel, Rehabilitation Counseling or related field.

EXPERIENCE

Two years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
