JOB SUMMARY

Design, oversee, and install complex electrical and electronic systems and controls. Perform skilled work in the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design schematics for campus security systems.

Oversee installation of campus security systems by electrical staff.

Install security systems and Life Safety Systems.

Design complex electrical control systems for Belknap Electrical Shop.

Maintain all data collection panels that monitor the campus Life Safety Systems.

Train electricians on the complex electrical controls and security systems.

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, AND SKILLS

High school diploma. Completion of formal trades apprenticeship. Valid driver's license.

EXPERIENCE

Two years of electrical experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
