JOB SUMMARY

Develop new courses and curriculum for the personal development component for community non-credit programs and maintain existing courses for personal development.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

Manage all personal development and designated professional development programs not co-produced with academic units to include the following: search and select instructors, negotiate pay, evaluate and appraise, determine method, location of program, arrange for space, schedule programs and negotiate any other applicable agreements.

Develop course event budgets and select or approve course handouts and/or text. Specify catering if applicable.

Explore and develop new programs as directed.

Monitor needs of marketplace.

Advise continuing studies credit students.

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS

Master's degree in Education or related field.

EXPERIENCE

Two years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
