Job Summary

Diagnose, evaluate, recommend, and provide rehabilitative audiological services to patients with hearing disorders.

Duties and Responsibilities

Select, administer, and interpret results of diagnostic procedures to determine hearing disorders of patients.

Plan, direct, and/or participate in rehabilitative programs including counseling and therapy for patients and families.

Direct and supervise the diagnostic and rehabilitative services provided by graduate students in University-based clinics.

Edit and approve diagnostic charts and reports completed by graduate students, and maintain all clinical and administrative records.

Attend and participate in departmental, local, state, and national meetings and conferences concerning audiology.

Conduct educational programs designed for professionals, students, and the general public.

Coordinate the practicum needs of graduate students with the scheduling needs of the University's clinics and external practicum sites.

Perform other related duties as required.

Knowledge, Training and Skills

Master's degree in Audiology. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology issued by the American Speech and Hearing Association.


Three years of clinical experience as an Audiologist.
