JOB SUMMARY

Monitor University employee recruitment and selection process, handle problems and complaints and provide assistance and training to University departments in Affirmative Action/Employee Relations matters.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

Coordinate the flow of information and projects and oversee the fiscal and personnel functions within the Affirmative Action/Employee Relations office.

Conduct the monitoring of staff recruitment and selection activities.

Develop and complete all internal and external reports.

Develop and maintain computerized information systems for data collection and analysis. Synthesize information for preparation of reports.

Oversee investigations and appeals arising from employee grievances. Monitor construction contracts and unemployment claims.

Serve as liaison with University departments and conduct training programs on Affirmative Action/Employee Relations procedures.

Perform related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS

Bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE

Three years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
