Job Summary

Responsible for planning, development, delivery and evaluation of training manuals and programs for Kentucky Pollution Prevention Center. Develops, delivers and evaluates the on-site technical assistance program for assessments and reports for industry.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for producing case studies for the quarterly newsletter.

Plan, develop, deliver and evaluate training manuals and programs.

Obtain additional funding from federal, state, and local government agencies and track grants and contracts.

Develop, deliver and evaluate the technical assistance program for on-site assessments and reports of pollution prevention opportunities for industry.

Respond to industrial technical assistance requests from the 800 number and fast fax response line at the Center.

Advise, coordinate and direct pollution prevention research for the Center.

Work with the Executive Director to establish policy, develop annual budgets and to assess program goals, accomplishments and performance.

Coordinate and complete special projects as assigned by the Executive Director.

Knowledge, Training and Skills

Master's degree of Science in Engineering or Public Health.


Five years of experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
