Job Summary

Assist in long and short term planning and serve as liaison to academic leaders regarding service needs to support research and instruction.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop both long and short term plans for the use of information resources.

Serve as liaison to various academic leaders, faculty, and computer users to identify needs, improve communications, and offer advice.

Develop strategies to provide new or improved services to Information Technology users.

Maintain contact with external organizations and participate in specific projects as assigned.

Assist in review of budgets as directed.

Perform related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Training and Skills

Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Science, Engineering, Statistics or related field. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.


Ten years of related computing experience including administrative and research and/or instructional responsibilities.
