June 2023 – August 2023
- Faculty and Staff Senate updates.
- Staff and Faculty W3 Advisory Committee update.
- Academic unit finance/business officers and Faculty Affairs review and validate Faculty base salary and academic appointment details.
- Update UofL pay data to reflect cost-of-living adjustments and merit increases.
- Match Faculty rank and discipline (CIP Codes) to published survey sources.
February 2023 – May 2023
- Staff and Faculty W3 Advisory Committee update.
- Faculty and Staff Senate updates.
- Pay equity study begins.
- Faculty base salary data validation with W3 Advisory Committee Co-Chairs, Faculty Affairs and Office of Academic Planning and Accountability (OAPA).
- Export UofL Faculty census data file from Workday.
- Identification of Faculty with administrative responsibilities and their associated pay.
November 2022 – January 2023
- Faculty base salary data validation with W3 Advisory Committee Co-Chairs, Faculty Affairs and Office of Academic Planning and Accountability (OAPA).
- Staff and Faculty W3 Advisory Committee update.
- Steering Committee update.
- Export initial Faculty census data file from PeopleSoft.
- UofL Faculty Project Team identification, procurement, and validation of survey sources used for Faculty market assessment.
- Faculty mapping review and confirmation to appropriate Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP) codes.
September 2022 – October 2022
- Faculty census data request, gathering of UofL information, and review of information.
- Project kick-off meeting between Segal and UofL Faculty Project Team.
- President Campus update.
- President’s Cabinet and Council of Academic Officers (CAO) update.
January 2022 – July 2022
- Campus updates via UofL Today.
- Distribute employee pulse survey.
- Share employee pulse survey results summary with campus.
- Faculty and Staff Senate updates.
- Segal presents proposed Total Compensation Philosophy and Peer Group to Staff and Faculty W3 Advisory Committee and Steering Committee for review and feedback.
- Approval of proposed Total Compensation Philosophy and Peer Group by Steering Committee (to review the peer groups, visit the Compensation & Total Rewards Study Peer Groups webpage).
April 2021 – January 2022
- Finalize Segal contract.
- Segal holds stakeholder interviews.
Prior to Project Launch
- Complete RFP process; Segal selected.
- Select Staff and Faculty W3 Advisory Committee and Steering Committee.
