Routine and General Mail

The UofL Mail Services provides support for general and routine mail for the following residence halls:

  • Louisville Hall
  • Miller Hall
  • Threlkeld Hall
  • Unitas Tower

Directions to receive your general and routine mail may be found on the UofL Mail Services link:  http://louisville.edu/housing/resources/resources/postal.  You will be provided a mailbox and an address to use.

The United States Postal Services provides support for general and routine mail for the following residence halls:

  • Bettie Johnson Hall
  • Cardinal Towne
  • Community Park
  • Kurz Hall
  • Medical-Dental Apartments
  • University Pointe
  • University Tower Apartments

 Packages for residents of Billy Minardi Hall are delivered to Community Park, while general mail for residents of Billy Minardi Hall will be delivered to mailboxes in Billy Minardi.

Packages for residents of Cardinal Towne are delivered to Bettie Johnson, while general mail for residents of Cardinal Towne will be delivered to mailboxes in Cardinal Towne.

Package Delivery

Campus Housing welcomes you to have your packages delivered to your residence hall.  Packages can be delivered to the following halls:

  • Community Park
  • Kurz Hall
  • Louisville Hall
  • Miller Hall
  • Medical-Dental Apartments
  • Threlkeld Hall
  • Unitas Tower
  • University Pointe
  • University Tower Apartments

Packages typically are received from the following companies: United Parcel Service (UPS), FedEx and DHL USA.

  • Please be aware that if a carrier transfers your package for final delivery to the United States Postal Service (USPS) there will be a delay in you receiving your package or it may be returned to sender. United States Postal Service does not deliver directly to the following residence halls: Louisville Hall, Miller Hall, Threlkeld Hall and Unitas Tower

You will be notified that a package has been delivered to the front desk of your residence hall by the packaging system called Notifii via:

  • UofL e-mail address
  • Text message
    • NOTE: If any of your information -- cellphone number, preferred name, etc. -- has changed since you applied for housing, email us at .

 

To pick up your package:

  • Come to the front desk of your residence hall with your Cardinal Card.
  • You will swipe your Cardinal Card to confirm that you have received your package.
    • Another individual may pick-up your package if they have authorization sent to them from your louisville.edu account. The e-mail must be turned over to the front desk in a hard copy format.
    • Staff at the front desk will confirm your information and hand you your package.
    • Additional items to note:
      • Packages are stored for a maximum of 10 business days.
      • Packages will be returned to sender if the resident no longer lives on campus.
      • If you had a recent room change, any package received at your previous residence hall will be transferred to your new location.
      • We do receive perishables/refrigerated items (ex. flowers and fruit).
        • We do NOT provide refrigeration.
        • If your package becomes a health and safety hazard, Campus Housing is not responsible for the contents. Any package that transitions into such conditions will be disposed of from the residence hall.
