Faculty Women of Color in the Academy Conference
The Graduate School in collaboration with the Office of Diversity and Equity sponsors two graduate students and two faculty members to attend the annual Faculty Women of Color in the Academy National Conference (FWCA). The Graduate School invites current doctoral students to apply to attend this year's event. This conference is perfect for current GTAs who want to strengthen their skill or students who are not currently teaching but are interested in a faculty position as a career. The conference will be held in person in Arlington, VA from Thursday, March 31-Sunday April 3, 2022. The two students selected to attend will have registration, airfare, and hotel (double-room occupancy) covered; any meals not provided by the conference will be the student's responsibility.
The deadline to submit your application is Friday, February 18, 2022.

All applicants must also have a faculty mentor, director of graduate studies, chair, or dean email the Director of Graduate Recruitment & Diversity Retention, Dr. Tamekka Cornelius with their approval of participation by Friday, February 18, 2022.
