Meteorology
Students will learn about a variety of topics including the science behind severe weather events, the fundamentals of weather prediction, and climate change. Outside the classroom, students will have opportunities to participate in faculty research or explore internships with members of Louisville’s weather community (National Weather Service, UPS, TV stations). Graduates will be prepared for a wide range of career opportunities, including employment with the National Weather Service or pursuing advanced graduate degrees for a career in atmospheric research.
