CEHD Graduate Assistant Application

Read Before Proceeding

Thank you for your interest in a graduate assistantship with the College of Education & Human Development (CEHD). Before you apply, please review this webpage to familiarize yourself with three types of GA positions available in our college: https://louisville.edu/education/graduate-student-success-office/fs/ga

NOTE: This application will require that you have written material ready for submission before you can submit this application - incomplete applications will not be considered. You will need to have the following ready to submit as part of your application: resume, professional goal statement that connects the prospective GA role to your educational/professional goals (approx. 1 page), and contact information for two references.

NOTE 2: Priority is given to graduate students pursuing a degree in the CEHD. The University does not provide GA positions/funding for students enrolled in 100% online graduate degree programs. However, the GA stipend will cover online classes as long as you're enrolled in a traditional face-to-face on-campus graduate degree program.

Oct 1 marks the opening of the application process for Spring 2024 GA vacancies if any become available due to graduation or voluntary vacancy. Applications are reviewed by department faculty based on their needs. If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted by a faculty member from the department/program. If you receive no contact, your application is either pending consideration or you have not been selected.

If you have any questions, please email the Graduate Student Success Office @ cehdgss@louisville.edu.
