Bio

I specialize in statistical simulation, Bayesian methods, single case designs, and latent variable modeling. My interests are in the development and application of statistical methods for the social, medical, business, and biological sciences.

I am a methodologist and statistician who specializes in developing methodological solutions to address real world data problems such as small sample cases, non-normality, dependence of observations, etc. which are generally antithetical to commonly used parametric techniques. I have worked with large data problems that involve latent variable and multilevel modelling, as well as with small data problems such as single case experimental designs which involve Bayesian interrupted time-series analyses. My interdisciplinary collaborations span across many fields such as medicine, education, geography, marketing, psychology, architecture, library sciences, and management. Recently, I have been developing Bayesian methodologies for mixed methods analyses.
