Developing Diagnostic Interviews to Assess Students in Mathematics

This webinar will focus on developing participants understanding and use of diagnostic interviews for mathematics. Specific examples of diagnostic interviews linked to the common core standards will be shared with example student responses. The goal is for participants to increase their knowledge base in the use of diagnostic assessments so appropriate interventions can be developed that focus on the correct skill deficits.

Simple FBA: Considering Function in Everyday Classroom Contexts

This webinar will describe how the concepts inherent in a functional behavior assessment can be used as a simple strategy for preventing and responding to problem behavior in classroom settings. Case studies will be used to demonstrate how FBA can be a simple part of everyday classroom management for students who are not successfully responding to rules and directions.

Co-teaching Part 2: A more in depth examination of co-planning and evaluating co-teaching

This webinar will focus on the importance of co-planning and evaluating co-teaching. In the first part of the webinar, Dr. Landrum will discuss the importance of co-planning and provide strategies for how to effectively co-plan. In addition, she will provide a template to use while co-planning. The second part of the webinar will focus on evaluating co-teaching. Dr. Landrum will discuss the critical components that should be evaluated while observing a co-teaching lesson.
