Tired of all the talk about violence in our community?  Are you ready to act powerfully on behalf of yourself and your neighbors?  You are invited to join us for Power Shift: Real Skills for Social Change, a community organizing workshop led by Rev. Alvin Herring.

This two day skill building workshop, for both novices and seasoned community organizers, will provide you with the tools needed to define your own issues and interests, organize others, and act to win. A special call is going out to residents of Louisville’s West End.

October 26th 9am-7pm and October 27th 9am-4pm.
Food will be provided for all participants. Please plan to attend both sessions.

$10 is the suggested donation, but no one will be turned away.

Sponsored by The Muhammad Ali Institute for Peace and Justice at the University of Louisville and The Kentucky Center for African American Heritage
