Dr. Fashaad Crawford, Faculty in Residence for the Cultural Center, will facilitate informal lunch colloquia and roundtable discussions at the University of Louisville Cultural Center the 2nd Wednesday of every month. Discussions are designed to provide cultural programming, discourse, and resources for faculty, instructors, staff, students, and administrators,. The workshops will include teaching strategies, emerging trends in research, stimulating dialogue, and discussions on assessing diversity perceptions within the classroom and throughout campus. A recurring theme for the colloquia series focuses on improving college student experiences, achievement, and degree completion for all student groups. The overall goals of the colloquia are to provide a forum for the university community on diversity, with emphasis on dialogue that will enhance institutional collaboration, and identify student diversity challenges and ways to mitigate those challenges. FREE LUNCH is provided at every session.
