The Department of Pan-African Studies' Center for the Study of Crime and Justice in Black Communities (CSCJBC), directed by Ricky L. Jones, presents its first Annual Martin Luther King Justice Lecture - “Morehouse Men Salute Morehouse’s Favorite Son.”  The event is Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 2:00 pm in U of L’s Student Activities Center's Floyd Theater.

 

Dr. King, a 1948 graduate of Morehouse College, will be honored by speakers Dr. David Canton (Morehouse ’91), Associate Professor at Connecticut College; Dr. Jeffrey O. G. Ogbar (Morehouse ’91), Associate Dean and Associate Professor, University of Connecticut; and Louisville Circuit Court Judge the Honorable Olu A. Stevens (Morehouse ’92).
