Facilitator:  Dr.  Ricky  L.  Jones,  Professor  and  Chair,  Department  of  Pan-­‐African  Studies,  University  of  Louisville  

This  return  of  Saturday  Academy  offers  participants  an  exclusive  overview  of  PROJECT  PROGRESS  and  an  exploration  of  important  trends  in  black  electoral  politics  and  legislation  since  1964.  Where  does  black  America  stand  as  the  country’s  first  black  president  prepares  to  exit  office?
