Dr. King visited the law school’s Allen Court Room on March 30, 1967 to address law students about the issues of the day, including the struggle for open housing going on in Louisville at the time. The law school invites the public to the official unveiling of a photographic display commemorating Dr. King’s visit. From 5:30 – 6:00pm, refreshments will be served in the law school’s Commons Area, and at 6:15 a short program will begin in the Allen Court Room. Speakers will include several people who were present on March 30, 1967 to hear Dr. King’s remarks.
