Diversity Initiatives

diversity initiatives

Diversity and inclusion is a University of Louisville Cardinal Principle. You will see this principle throughout the university in many ways ensuring a welcoming environment for all members of the campus community.

The University of Louisville offers students a diverse array of academic programs, enabling them to explore various interests and career paths in fields like arts, sciences, business, and technology.

Employees at the University can engage in campus initiatives and events through the Employee Success Center, which provides training, mentoring, and networking opportunities and Employee Resource Groups that offer staff the opportunity to connect with each other.

The Cultural and Equity Center enhances students' sense of belonging by facilitating community-building across different identities. This center organizes cultural activities, events, and mentoring to support students' academic, personal, and professinal growth.

The Health Science Center Office of Diversity and Inclusion promotes health equity and prioritizes the well-being of students, faculty, and staff within a welcoming community by cultivating a culture that values diversity and inclusion. The University aims to advance intellectual development, academic excellence, patient care, research, and community engagement, positioning itself as a hub of innovation and opportunity.
