Alberto Ruy Sánchez will present three free public lectures: “Elusive Identities: The Arabic Presence in Mexican Culture,” 4:30-5:30 p.m. Oct. 24, Chao Auditorium, Ekstrom Library; “Reflections on the Day of the Dead,” 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Oct. 23, Chao Auditorium; and “Por una poética del asombro,” 5:30-6:30 p.m. Oct. 25, Humanities. 202.  Co-sponsors: Anthropology, A&S International, Diversity, and Outreach Programs, Classical and Modern Languages, CODRE, LALS, Liberal Studies, Middle East and Islamic Studies and Special Collections of Ekstrom Library.
