Peggy Campbell, LCSW., has worked at the Bingham Clinic as a clinical social worker/therapist since November 16, 1992. The first three years were for Ackerly In-patient unit full time and also out patient at Bingham part-time. She also did contract work for Norton Adult Inpatient Unit 2 nights a week, doing addiction assessments. She supervised Kent School of Social Work practicum students, and received the “golden Appreciation Award for outstanding support of Residents” in 1995. She is licensed in Kentucky and Indiana and nationally accredited. She received her BA degree from I.U. Bloomington campus and was on the Dean’s List and member of academic sorority. She has a double major in psychology and sociology and received the honor of being able to work summers at social services agencies, salaried after graduation. She has worked at Indiana Dept of Child Welfare, Indiana Community Action Agency, and VNA in order to incorporate social work at such agencies. She was a "stay at home mom" for several years and did some volunteer work and took college classes for fun, such as art and literature classes. She eventually returned to I.U. graduate school in Indianapolis. She earned her MSW and then worked as an addiction therapist full time and also did contract work in the evening. For 9 + years she also supervised various disciplines of practicum students. She has two daughters and sons-in-laws and 5 grandchildren, all are doing great. In her spare time she likes spending wonderful times with family and friends, swimming, reading, walking, gardening, and antiquing.
