Bio – Dr. Kuhn is a graduate of Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and received his psychiatric training at the University of Michigan. He is an internationally-acknowledged expert in humor and healing; Cliff’s mission is to teach us how to tap into our natural positive energies every day to get more fun and success into and out of even the most tedious responsibilities and fearful challenges. His latest book is “It All Starts with a Smile: Seven Steps to Being Happier Right Now.”

Overview:Drawing upon the model of light’s power to diminish darkness, this presentation will illuminate humor’s power to diminish stress. Dr. Kuhn’s demonstrations will provide participants with a first-hand experience of the healing effects available to everyone from effective and responsible humor

Objectives:

  1. Make a more accurate and useful diagnosis of stress in their lives
  2. Identify at least four documented health benefits of humor
  3. Practice a three-step “prescription” for getting more positive energy (“light”) into and out of every minute of every day
  4. Demonstrate the power of intentional smiling to dispel stress and fear in everyday situations
