Advising & Visits

Advising and Visit Opportunities

OPEN HOUSE
We are hosting an impressions day for future dental applicants on Monday, May 20, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The event will consist of a tour, interactions with students and faculty, and clinical demonstrations. This is last opportunity for 2024-2025 DMD applicants to visit ULSD prior to applying. Registration is required and space is limited.

INFORMATION SESSIONS

These sessions are designed for either prospective students planning to apply to ULSD in a future application cycle or individuals planning to reapply to ULSD after an unsuccessful admissions cycle. Admissions staff will provide an overview of the application process and provide insight on what to expect during your four years of dental education at ULSD.

Virtual information sessions will be hosted via Microsoft Teams on the following dates.

  • May 1, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. EST
  • May 6, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. EST
  • May 15, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. EST
  • May 23, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. EST
  • May 30, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. EST
Please complete the registration form to register for the above Information Session dates. Confirmation and virtual invitation will be emailed to you 1-2 days prior to the Information Session date.

TOURS
For individuals considering applying to ULSD in the 2024 cycle, the last opportunity to tour is May 20 during our Open House (see above). Applicants invited to interview will receive a tour as part of the interview day experience. Summer tour dates, for those considering applying in 2025 and beyond, will be added late May.

APPLICATION ADVISING

Prior to requesting a one-on-one appointment with an admissions representative, all prospective applicants must attend a virtual information session. If, after attending an information session, you still have lingering questions, you may request a virtual appointment to address those questions. Admissions representatives are able to answer questions about the process and our program but are unable to provide specific guidance on what an applicant can do to address strengths and weaknesses; it is up to applicants, themselves, to make that determination. Please note, during peak application season, we may be unable to accommodate requests for individual advising but will do our best to answer your questions via email.
