Oral Health and Systemic Disease Research Group

The Oral Health and Systemic Disease Research Group are involved primarily in studying the effects of bacteria on the host and how these local, oral effects may influence systemic health.

Department of Molecular, Cellular and Craniofacial Biology

This department conducts fundamental and applied research on cellular and molecular aspects of embryonic development and acquired congenital malformations, as well as protein expression and trafficking. It is also home to the University of Louisville Birth Defects Center.
