Post-Doctoral Research Associate
The University of Louisville Birth Defects Center, a NIH-funded Center for Biomedical Research Excellence, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow appointment in the area of Molecular/Developmental Biology. Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree or the equivalent in a biomedically related field with evidence of research productivity reflected by a strong publication record. A background in molecular/molecular genetic methodologies, or cell and/or developmental biology is preferred.
The successful candidate will join a well-funded laboratory group with a critical mass of students, postdoctoral fellows, research associates, and junior/senior faculty with active research programs in the areas of epigenetic gene regulation during development, fetal programming, developmental origins of adult disease, environmental impact on neurodevelopment, and molecular genetics of cranio/facial development. Salary commensurate with past relevant experience.
