The Delphi Center for Teaching and Learning is partnering with faculty and staff across the institution to consider how the rise of generative AI such as ChatGPT is shifting the landscape of teaching and learning.

We invite you to join the discussion by attending our continuing series of workshops. Each workshop showcases different focuses of how UofL educators and students are using AI/ChatGPT, as well as help participants brainstorm how they may engage with AI in their course development.

AI Unleashed: Crafting Next-Gen Assignments Across Disciplines

In this session, we’ll explore innovative strategies for integrating generative AI into assignment design, fostering student engagement and enhancing learning outcomes. Drawing from practical examples across various disciplines, we’ll discuss how to create assignments that leverage AI’s capabilities as well as encourage students to use AI creatively and responsibly. Whether you’re looking to generate adaptive problem sets, craft dynamic writing prompts or develop interactive simulations, this session will provide actionable insights and tools to transform your teaching practice with AI.

GenAI Learning Circle
Hybrid options, following dates listed below

The GenAI Learning Circle will bring together faculty to share knowledge, ask questions, and voice concerns and ideas for the future use of generative AI in higher education teaching and learning. In each of these informal hybrid meetings held every three weeks, we will work to discover pedagogical applications of GenAI, address ethical and social implications of its use in higher ed, and share best practices and experiences from your teaching.

This learning circle is open to anyone interested. You may attend in person or online through Teams. Join us for one or more of the sessions:

Asynchronous Online Trainings

Artificial Intelligence: So, How Does it Work?

This training will look at some of the fundamental principles underlying artificial intelligence (AI) and explore its diverse applications across the educational landscape.
