When an emergency impacts more than a single building, the University of Louisville has larger and more complex campus and university wide emergency plans. The plans are developed by the University Office of Emergency Management and approved by the University Emergency Planning Work Group.
The Emergency Operation Plan is the general plan of how the university will function in response to an emergency.
The Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Plan outlines how the emergency management team will come together in a single location and implement emergency operations. The EOC plan is supplemented by the EOC Job Aid Guide and the Emergency Operations Management System Charts.
The Hazard Mitigation Plan is revised every five years, and identifies threats to the university from natural disasters.
Other Supplementary Plans are linked to the Campus Emergency Plans web page.
