Translational Technologies and Resources Core

The CTSI Translational Technologies
and Resources Core is led by: 

Russell A. Prough, Ph.D.
Professor of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology,
Vice Dean for Research, School of Medicine

 


•Enhance university-wide core facilities

•Evaluating the translational resource needs of CTSI

•Providing input on new technologies

•Establish new core facilities critical for basic and translational research

•Reviewing the level of activity and effectiveness of the cores aligned with the CTSI.

•Prioritize use of available resources.

•Seek new funds for equipment purchases, technical staff, and supplies with the CTSI grant being the nidus.

•Implement a communication strategy so faculty are aware of available core facilities and are educated concerning how available technologies can enhance their research programs.
