Goals for Biomedical Informatics Core:
•Develop a Translational Research Informatics Office (TRIO)
–Build a integrated and standards-based, scalable informatics infrastructure using recognized best practices.
•Identify those novel bench/bedside/community informatics programs which hold promise for significant translational activity and community engagement.
•Link to and provide informatics support for the other CTSI cores.
•Provide the intellectual environment for growth and development of biomedical informatics, health research investigators and trainees with the aid of appropriate informatics workshops, conferences and training materials.
