New Recruitment Coordinator

 

Hope Johnson, Louisville native and Card family alum, joins the University Career Center to serve the campus community as Recruitment Coordinator. Hope graduated in December 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and Learning (OLL) with track in Leadership, Training and Organizational Development, and a certificate in Human Resource Leadership.

Her educational journey started in 2015 at Jefferson Community & Technical College where she completed her associates in Elementary Education with a concentration in mathematics. Soon after graduation in 2019, she transferred to U of L in the hopes to become a teacher and inspire children in the ways of learning. After some time, she realized that being a teacher is not the only way to help youth and make an impact in the world. As the world was changing in 2020, Hope found her calling in the OLL program finished out her degree and began her search in higher education. 

While in college Hope enjoyed her time in several organizations including Black Student Union (BSU), Society for Human Resource Management Student SHRM Chapter, First-Generation Student Programs & Support, and TRIO Student Support.

Now, she returns to campus to give back to the University of Louisville community by assisting employers to recruit UofL students for employment opportunities in the local community and across the United States.

Hope shares a profound love for theater, poetry, art, singing, music, learning, and networking. She has an open door policy and ready to interact with others through communication.
