Cobb Family Professor of Entrepreneurship

College of Business

Established June 1998

Stewart Cobb '56B and Ann Ford Cobb '55B endowed the Cobb Family professorship and the Cardinal Venture Fund during the bicentennial campaign. The professorship is focused on teaching and research related to entrepreneurship, particularly preparing MBA students to start their own businesses. The venture fund will provide seed money for viable student and faculty ventures based on a business plan review.

Longtime supporters of the university, the Cobbs have served jointly as national chairs of the annual fund. Ann Cobb was a member of the university's Board of Trustees and Stewart Cobb sits on the Board of Overseers. Stewart, an entrepreneur himself, is founder and president of Midwest Veneers of Clarksville, Ind.
