Clayton selected as the recipient of the 8th Annual Florence W. Vigilante Award for Scholarly Excellence recognition

Dewey Clayton, PhD, professor of political science, was recently selected as the recipient of the 8th Annual Florence W. Vigilante Award for Scholarly Excellence in recognition of the best article published in Volume 39 (2019) of the Journal of Teaching in Social Work.  The co-authored article is titled, “The Dehumanization of Black Males by Police: Teaching Social Justice - Black Life Really Does Matter!”
