Dr. Lionel Cheruzel received his PhD in Chemistry in 2006 under Robert M. Buchanan's direction. Dr. Cheruzel also won the Binsford Award for graduate studies at UofL in 2006.

He just won a Journal of Biological Chemistry/Herbert Tabor Young Investigator Award for his work on the light-driven hybrid cytochrome P450 BM3 biocatalyst. See the PDF of the article in ASBMB news.
