Noah Efron is a Senior Fellow of Shaharit – A Think Tank for New Israeli Politics. He has served on the Tel Aviv-Jaffa City Council and is a standing member of the Committee on Genetically Modified Organisms of Israel’s Ministry of Agriculture. Efron teaches at Bar Ilan University in Tel Aviv, where he was the founding chairperson of the Program in Science, Technology & Society. He has held fellowships at Princeton, MIT, and Harvard. He is the author of numerous publications, including Real Jews: Secular, Ultra-Orthodox, and the Struggle for Jewish Identity in Israel. He also hosts The Promised Podcast, which is available free on iTunes.
