Admission as a Visiting Student

Admission as a Visiting Student for Courses Offered through the University of Louisville Panama Undergraduate (PUG) Program at Quality Leadership University, Panama City

All applicants for visiting student status must complete a University of Louisville paper application for undergraduate admission.  Printable versions of application materials are available at here. Scroll to the bottom of the page for printable forms and instructions.

In addition to the admission application form, applicants who have graduated high school but have not yet attended college must provide

  • Proof of student status
    • A QLU-certified letter of acceptance from the college or university to which they have been accepted as a full-time student
    • OR
    • A complete, official copy of high school transcript showing date of graduation
      If no date of graduation is listed on the transcript, applicants must provide an official copy of the diploma showing date of graduation.
    • Notarized, English-language translations of all transcripts and diplomas not originally in English
      Transcripts from all non-Panamanian and non-U.S. high schools must be evaluated by Educational Credentials Evaluators, Inc. (ECE) (or World Education Services, Inc. (WES).  The evaluation must be sent directly from the evaluating agency to the University of Louisville.
  • Proof of English proficiency
    • An QLU-certified copy of the official TOEFL report if the visitor attended a non-U.S. school.
      Students must score 550 or higher on the paper-based TOEFL exam, 213 or higher on the computer-based exam, or 79 or higher on the web-based exam.  U.S. citizens are exempt from the TOEFL requirement.
    • OR
    • An official U.S. high school transcript showing a “C” or better in English.

 

Applicants who are currently attending another college or university must provide

  • In section two of the undergraduate application form, the applicable information concerning academic status, total credits hours earned, cumulative grade point average, and current enrollment noted on page two of the application.
  • Proof of English proficiency
    • An QLU-certified copy of the official TOEFL report if the visitor attended a non-U.S. school. 
      Students must score 550 or higher on the paper-based TOEFL exam, 213 or higher on the computer-based exam, or 79 or higher on the web-based exam.  U.S. citizens are exempt from the TOEFL requirement.
    • OR
    • An official or QLU-certified transcript from a U.S. high school or college showing a “C” or better in English.

All students should submit the completed application, required supporting documentation, and the application fee to:
